Online Privacy Statement

This Online Privacy Statement is designed to help you understand how Privacy Associates International LLC (“PAI,” “we,” or “us”), based in the United States, collects the personally identifiable information you may choose to provide through our web site, (the “Site”), and how we use and safeguard the personal information you provide.

What Information Do We Collect?
PAI collects two types of information about users of our Site:

Personally identifiable information

You do not have to submit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, physical address, email address, and telephone or fax numbers) to use the PAI web site.  We do not collect personally identifiable information unless it is voluntarily provided by you.   If you elect to correspond through email, we may keep your email address, the content of your email messages, and our responses. We do not collect credit card numbers or social security numbers. This Site is not designed for, nor directed to, children 13 years of age or younger and we do not intentionally collect information from them.

Non-personally identifiable information

Web site use information is collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our site.  This non-personally identifiable information is collected to help us improve our Site and is not associated with you as an individual.

Similar to other commercial web sites, our Site utilizes a standard technology called “cookies”.  We use cookies to collect non-personally identifiable information to provide personalization and server logs to collect information about how our Site is used. Our web pages also may incorporate “pixel tags”, “web beacons”, or similar tracking technologies (collectively, “pixel tags”) to track the actions of users of our Site. Information gathered through cookies, web server logs, and pixel tags may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Site, and the web sites visited just before our Site, the name of your internet service provider, the IP address of the computer you are using, the type of browser software and operating system that you use, the web site address, if any, to which you travel from our Site, and other similar traffic-related information.

How Do We Use This Information?

We use personal information we collect from you to administer our business activities, respond to inquiries, and to provide customer service.  We may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Site, new services and special offers.  You will be given the opportunity to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers by clicking on a response box included in the electronic correspondence you receive.

What Information is Disclosed to Third Parties?

This may include transfer to countries without data protection rules similar to those in effect in your country of residence. By providing information to the Site, you are consenting to these transfers.  We may also disclose personally identifiable information to any third party if we believe we are required to do so by law; to comply with legal processes or governmental requests; to prevent, investigate, detect, or prosecute offenses or attacks on Site or our network; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of PAI and its affiliates, their partners, and employees, the users of the Site, or the public.
